Ten o'clock, one room, about seventy minutes. Here is precisely what happens, so that nothing about your first morning is a surprise.
The hour
What actually
happens.
No screens, no band, no sign-in table. A hymn, a prayer, a reading, a sermon, another hymn, and out.
Doors open before ten and people stand about in the vestibule talking, which is half the point. The service itself starts on time. There is a call to worship, hymns from the hymnal in the pew rack, prayer — including out-loud requests from the congregation, so you will hear real names and real trouble — a Scripture reading, and a sermon from Pastor Jaryd Boyer.
Music comes from the piano and the small organ at the front, and sometimes a guitar. The hymns are mostly the old ones; occasionally something written this century. Nobody is performing.
Communion is served at the rail on the first Sunday of the month, and the table is open — you do not have to be a member of this church, or any church, to come forward.
Afterwards people stay. Coffee happens. If you slip out during the last hymn nobody will chase you, and if you stay an hour somebody will still be talking.

Bring them in
Children stay in the room. There is a children's ministry and there is noise, and a small congregation is glad of both. No one will look at you.
Pass the plate on
The plate is passed. Visitors are not expected to put anything in it, and passing it straight along is completely normal.
Out by 11:15
One service, roughly seventy minutes. If you have somewhere to be at twelve, you have somewhere to be at twelve.
